Custom Made Teams
SQA’s Custom Made Teams (CMTs) are project-specific quality assurance or test teams reporting directly to one of SQA’s Senior QA Leads. SQA takes responsibility for staffing these teams and integrating them into your projects. You retain overall management control while SQA owns responsibility for things like day-to-day project leadership, hiring and retiring of resources, and dealing with cross-functional organizations for project integration and IT support. Custom Made Teams develop test strategies, maintain test environments, deliver testing, manage and implement tools, and regularly report status and metrics.
When you engage one of SQA’s CMTs, you are free to devote more time to the tasks you keep putting off. Now you can spend more time thinking about:
- the issues facing other projects
- developing comprehensive quality strategies
- more tightly integrating with the project team
- interacting with your peers
And because our CMTs come with Engagement Management, they have direct access to SQA’s corporate architects providing the team with best-in-class resources who can provide consulting and project oversight services for the benefit of the entire project.
Each CMT is a unique self-contained unit that can supplement your own staff or can independently run with a project. The composition and reporting structure are specific to your need. In each case, we partner with you to understand your project demands, and create an appropriate solution.
While CMTs can operate in your facility or ours, we recommend that some part of the team reside in your facility to ensure a close working relationship to your project management and development resources.
